License

You do not need a license to ride a motorized bicycle on public roads in Idaho.

Registration

A motorized bicycle does not need to be registered in Idaho so long as:

• the engine is less than 50cc.
  
• the top speed is less than 30mph.
• it has an automatic transmission.
