Hi all! First post. My first and current bike is a 90’s Specialized Rockhopper Comp with a dax F80 kit. I did a couple of stupid things that ultimately destroyed my rear wheel. I’d had an eye on these wheels for I while, and I ordered them this past weekend...

    Maintenance questions, and air leak?

Hey guys, first post so excuse me if this is in the wrong section. I'd say this engine has around 1000 or so km on it, and since day one I've had fuel/oil dripping onto the engine, not sure if it is from the spark plug, exhaust or crank case but I have made sure all is tight. The bike goes great...

Nut size for 4g transmission rear sprocket

Hey everyone, I'm in the process of rebuilding the 4g transmission for my 4 stroke after the bolt that held the 10t rear sprocket fell off causing a domino effect of transmission failure. I got another sprocket but I don't know what size nut goes on the threaded shaft, anyone know?

    Chain attatched to centre sprocket?

Ok so on my bike, the chain is connected from the gear on the engine, to the sprocket on the rear wheel. Recently, I've seen pictures of motorized bikes with the chain attached from the engine sprocket to the centre sprocket. Would this gearing result in better performance? I'm aware it looks...

    Chain tensioner not working

I just noticed this but my chain tightener/tensioner isn't on right. The tube it's on isn't shaped right so it doesn't fit on correctly. We positioned it so it doesn't jam but every now and then there is a loud pop coming from the chain. I believe it's because the chain is coming off the...

Is there an ideal way to centering these things? Seems when you go around tightening these bolts, the sprocket starts shifting for some reason.
