12v Head light and tail light into 20v drill battery?

Im not very knowledgeable about electronics but im wanting to put lights on my bike,a front light and a back light.Can i power 2 lights that are both 12volt each on a single 20 volt drill battery?

Maybe use some kinda voltage regulator or something.

It's not recommended. You can however get a voltage regulator that regulates to 12v.

Yea. It depends on the bulbs. They will say their rating. I use a regulator with the Milwaukee batteries, mostly for accessory power outlet, otherwise I would go for the higher voltage.

Some of the modern LED bulbs have an internal regulator. Input voltage voltage is from 9 to 30 volts, so if you have the right bulbs voltage shouldn't be an issue.
