Hi guys,

Just wanted to share with you that anything is possible if you have the time, space and money :)

Bought a dynamo 12volt kit for $10 bucks.
Dynamo left working after first run it does not handle the speed of the bycicle.
changed bulbs by leds and now i am using an UPS battery of 7A (7 amps)

I use the lights for 1 hour every day for the trip returning from the work to my home (15 kilometers)

the battery holds up fine (before dropping under half charge level) for 20 days aproximately. I have a total consumption of 0.3A that is the good thing of leds :)

Here I attach a photo if anybody is interested I can share more information on what resistance to use for the leds or more pics for closer look...

a nice, bright looking light.

It's kinda fun cobbling together something to do the job you have in mind, isn't it?

Some of my mickey mouse engineering hasn't worked all that well, but some have. I've always gotten a kick out of it.
