142f engine Starts and clutch engages

Ok thanks for all the input I will try what is suggested
I just thought of one other thing on the high idle issue, when I had the OE carb on my cart I had a lazy return spring and it wouldn't pull off the throttle. Once I put a stronger spring, all was good.

That too my cousin found a heavier spring and you still have to push the throttle to a stop or it will rev a little. but its probably the clutch bolt if its the ebay special clutch.

As someone mentioned, seems like your throttle cable is pulling the throttle valve open. I recommend the same: adjust the idle with the throttle cable off. Then install the cable and adjust it until the idle doesn't change. Ensure that the cable is fully seated in the throttle valve cable holder, otherwise the cable could hold the valve open

Finally got it running but when choke off it still wants to pull without twisting throttle, not sure what to check or fix now?

Are you sure the choke is off? It's happened before, guy operates the choke in reverse. Bike starts easy with no choke and then puts it on to ride.

Best way to tell is take the air filter off and watch the operation.

It’s not an issue with the choke. The bike is trying to pull its self as if the throttle is being twisted. As soon as I crank it start to roll I have to squeeze the brake to keep from moving

If the throttle is the choke and the choke is the throttle that makes sense. The choke lever shouldn't affect rpm.The bolts on the clutch did you check it yet?

I think I have and found the problem
I think this is my woodruff key smashed to the clutch
