144 spoke wheels

Hi All,
Has anyone used 144 spoke wheels with any of the various engine kits? If so, was the installation any harder? Where there any mods that you had to incorporate? Hows the bike overall ride?

The guys at spooky tooth have done it. You will have to remove some spokes. Yes it is harder

bear in mind that 144 spokes are typically radial lace patterns and not necessarily stronger than double or triple cross spoke patterns with fewer spokes.

That sounds like a nightmare to true if it ever gets bent out of shape. Must look cool though.
