Hi. New Comer here. Just obtained what is thought to be 1945 safticycle. I believe this bike has Probably had several owners in the last 10 20 years so it may be familiar to some out there...
I am looking to confirm it is in fact a 45 and I am looking for literature and parts if avaliable.
The engine presently in bike is a Honda someone put in. But I do have the original engine and am looking to make it somewhat original.
And I am curious as to value of this bike. I bought it because it is an interesting piece. I am a motorcycle guy but it's neet. Also pretty fun to ride, but ohhhhh those brakes.
Thanks
Bob

Bob, I hope it's OK to hijack this threat to ask if you are the Robert who displayed a 1939 Royal Enfield Model DC at the Dania Beach Vintage Motorcycle Show Saturday. I shot some photos of it and I want to feature it on my blog, www.RoyalEnfields.com Could you share some details about it? I'm not familiar with the model. I'm at david@royalenfields.com All best.
