If it's a rebuilt J engine, shouldn't they know because they needed J parts?

Need the bike serial # because it might be a 1995 -99 reproduction

If it's not a reproduction it's a beautifully restored 1956 Phantom

I'm thinking it's a reproduction Phantom because the guy didn't even realize he has a Whizzer "J' engine
Also seller didn't give enough info about the bicycle

My guess it is an original frame, but might have some repo parts on it like the rear rack. Don't see many repos with the front drum brake on the wheel....

You would figure if asking $5k for a bike it would be documented

The frame looks to new style to me just because of the back rack but maybe thats the way they were made in olden days. I always thought they were wire. oops paint job and chain guard look newer too.
