Oops My Bad, I really should look at the pictures you posted more closely
I see yours has only one terminal , one way only

The other type of electronic ignition control module has 2 terminals, allowing the wires to be switched
In order to see what polarity works best with the flywheel magnets
They recommend to switch between +and- to see which works best
They even show a diagram to let ya know to try each way
Maybe ya should P/U one of these because the one you got might not be fully in sinc with your flywheel magnets
Just a recommendation because everyone I know uses this type
