So I got it home on the trailer before the Tropical Storm Rains have begun here today. No great pictures outside other than the quick pick off the trailer on the way into the garage. Bike has so much original character. Cloth covered cables and wires. Clean speedo. Original Owner's manual. Supposed to be one owner acquired by my seller from a friend of the family up north. Sat in a basement for 30 years. He took it back to Florida and had his "Mechanic" go over the engine before disassembly and sent to his paint expert. Engine and wheels are not cleaned up. Needs a battery, fuel line (no gas clean tank) fuel line hookup, fork boots. Going to be fun.

Only downside is no title :( but I know the Florida DMV ropes pretty good and believe I have the documentation to get a title without too. much effort.

Got many bonus items including the $100 Harley maintenance parts listing and specification book for 1950-1957 bikes.

And last but not least, those that asked what I paid, I paid fair market price for an original bike with professional paint work and a 1973 Orange Krate Stingray bike with rare rear disc brake that has a value of $2500-$6000 depending on who is buying it or selling it! Both are keepers for me.

She looks beautiful , I bet ya can't wait to ride her

BTW check the date code on your tires If they're past 10 years old it's wise to get new tubes & tires

Yep.... Need to take it slow and go over the mechanicals. Rear brake pedal does not retract... need to see what kind of spring returns it.... kick starter and gear shifter are a bit old... as well as the left peg. Needs to be wired up... wires are there but not connected. Clutch feels pretty stiff.. Ordered ib FB group an NOS acid battery... just need to put the acid in it... good reviews... They guy found 50 of them... only $60 shipped!

Honestly, I think I am going to park it while I finish the Ambassador which is ready to assemble..... then I can decide where I am going with that bike and then this new one. Also want to get the stingray ridable... It came with a vintage hat and backpack!!!

It's not a bad idea to order another battery for that price.

Battery $34.10 part # 66001-47

That's a great deal for NOS H3 Hummer battery

If that bike was modernized I think this would be close as it gets. Suzuki T250.
