1st mechanical breakdown!!

Ok, it finally happened! On that 100% stock china doll I just put together.
I talked Ben into taking a ride with me. I was on mine, and he was on the China doll. He says it just slowly turned off.
I replaced the CDI, no luck. Checked the spark, that's good. Took the cylinder head and carb manifold off, everything looks good. Skirt is not broken. Spark plug looks a little wet, could be wetter though.
At this point I'm betting it's a piece of junk solidly plugging the carb, or the magneto key sheared.
Will keep y'all updated.

No I don't think so. We had been riding for a while when that happened, and it doesn't seem to be flooded. I'm gonna pull the carb and rinse it out today when I get time.

Always. And good oil. Dad's been keeping me busy all day, but I should be able to clean out the carb this evening.

Sadly, no. That would have been a sight to see.

If he had gotten loose shorts caught in it, you may of had to get him a warriors outfit. Then he'll get a lot of horn honks lol

Even though he didn't get his pants caught in it, I'll definitely recommend that suit to him, you know, "to avoid catastrophe in future".
