2 coils burnt, can I get away with custom killswitch?

meter at 20k .34 new. I think .32 to .38 is ok.

note that some new mags are 490ohm & some old mags are 250ohm - the 490s tend to blow out CDI units - the 250s are OK but a bit harder to start when motor is cold - the 350ohm seems best to me
