2 stroke choke problem

Hi Everyone
I have a cheap chinese 2 stroke 49cc attached to a roadbugs friction drive system . Starts up ok on choke but as soon as l switch it off the motor just dies . Not very mechanical minded so would appreciate some much needed help . Thank you all .

assuming the motor has warmed up a bit by the time you turn off the choke, it is too lean with choke off

check for clean jets, good float level, and no air leaks

Thanks Crassius for your imput . However not being too mechanicly minded l wouldnt know how to check those things . Could l start off by adjusting the mixture screw ??

sounds like something more serious than that - with it running on choke, I'd try spraying water around to look for air leaks first
