My Saxonette 0.7 HP two stroke engine with 30 ccm is now running for 35 years.
What has been repaired or replaced?
1 Exhaust........1 Piston ring......5 Spark plugs.......1 ignition cable........All bearings one time.....1 new Carburettor......
1 ignition module......and some nuts, bolts and sealing rings.

Why can`t they produce today such a quality?

Looks like a tranny to me. Where's the piston/crankshaft at? Maybe that's some type of weird aircraft motor?

IC thanks. Sachs has been building motors for a long time. I can't count how many places I've worked that used surplus WW2 machinery and were still kickin it. Even the electric motors driving them were OG.
