Engine Trouble 2 Stroke Engine wont idle!

On the side of the carb you have a idle screw. (screw with a spring).. Screw the screw all the way in then turn it out 3 1/2 turns..

This may not be a idle problem, so make sure you have your choke down so your engine can get air. If it is closed off the engine will idle funny and then cut out.

when you give it throttle does it bog down?
Does the engine cut off when you hold in the clutch?
What type of carb do you have?

My engine won`t idle and dies when the clutch is engaged, updated carb, less than 20 miles on engine

When the clutch lever is released thats engaged it’s suppose to not idle. Now when you squeeze the clutch lever that disengaged it suppose to idle. Ok trying to help you.

Wan is correct an engaged clutch means go.
Flower nut adjustment, clutch will not disengaged all the way so the engine can idle
