I'm thinking of going from a 4 stroke to a 2 stroke mostly because they are faster & much easier to work on & modify. I would love to use the mounting plate that came with my 4 stroke kit because it has the slots for adjustment/alignment & fits my beach cruiser like a glove. Based on what I know about 2 strokes the mounts are for those very very small frame tubes which we all know not every bike has. Plus I would hate to have to spend more on the CNC mounting adapter when I already have a mounting plate. So has anyone adapted a 2 stroke motor to fit on a 4 stroke mounting plate?
