Xpect 20" folding bike with Bikeberry 38cc 4 stroke friction drive. 16" wide, 30" long, 30.5" tall.

In addition to the regular folding procedure a single quick release allows the rear of the engine mount to be lifted about 4" to clear the front wheel.

Woohoo!

My first MB was a 20” folding bike w/ 1.35hp friction drive.

Top speed 27mph on a slight decline be.

Next came 2.2hp w/chain drive.

The bike became too squirrelly,”.

I removed the mb parts and gave it away, before I killed my self.

The bike weighs 36 lb and the engine kit 22 lb so it's no lightweight but it is sturdy.

I reduced the roller size to 0.93" so it'll pull itself and my fat butt up small hills. Top speed should be about 20 mph. I agree with 5-7HEAVEN about this type of bike being squirrelly. Everything is a compromise.

Definitely squirrelly. Lowsided in the sand coming into my driveway, no damage. Did find out that the engine runs fine while sideways. I wouldn't recommend motoriizing a 20" folding bike unless folding is absolutely necessary. A full size bike is much better.

The quick release parts for the vertical supports have arrived and have been installed. Takes less than 1 minute to remove/install the kit.
