2025 Honda Dax scooter

Zuma is a traditional scoot with a CVT tranny, Dax is more like a m/c but with an auto clutch, 3 or 4 sp, not sure which. Both 125cc and FI. Both are great for city/secondary road riding. Zuma has a huge under seat storage big nuff to stash a helmet. Dax you'd need to add a rack to carry anything. I've had a couple of scoots that topped out in the mid 50's on the flats and just wasn't happy, need about 10mph more to be good. The scoots that topped out in the mid 50's took a 1/4 mile to get to the top speed, just not enough oomph.

I would say the dax is 4 speed. Maybe 5. The later groms were available in a 5 speed but they tend to have transmission issues

A few years ago I wanted to get a kymco spade. They are a grom competitor and I think they are 4 valve with a 5 speed gearbox and 150cc. I think they stopped making them in 2021.
