AutoCAD can cost 14 grand per machine. (I use it every day) MicroStation costs even more. (I use it a few times per month).
If you are a student, you can purchase AutoCAD MUCH cheaper.
My advice is to take a class at the local community college and get a cheap version of AutoCAD. It does not need to be an AutoCAD class for you to get the big discount.
