I have a4 stroke with transmission and its not allowing the wheel to stop turning. If i try to stop it kills the engine i can't set still at an idle. Any help or idea on what it could be?

It's not the
First make sure your idle isn't set too high
Check you centrifugal clutch, for some reason it's staying engaged.
Clutch. It's like the transmission free wheel is backwards.

No, how works i tell between the two? This one has 2 chains inside.
One spins clock wise other counter clockwise. What way does your engine shaft spin? Spin the drum that way and watch the output shaft. If it reverses the rotation, im guessing its a 2 stroke. Gar as i know ( don't quote me i may be wrong) the 4 strokes spin with the wheel, 2 strokes are reversed to that.

That has to be what the problem is. Thanks so much for the help.

Ok, you don't have a gearbox you have a reduction chain drive box. What would be similar is a reduction belt drive box.

This is an example of what the inside of a reduction gearbox looks like.
