I have a .65 jet and it will 4 stroke just a little bit at almost full throttle. It will do this perodically, not constant. My question is, should i switch to the .64 jet?

Edit: not sure if it would be relevant, but my bike will not idle as i expect it should. I have to turn the idle screw all the way in for it to idle. Im pretty sure i shouldnt have to do this. In an attempt to combat this, my clip on the pin in the carb is at lowest setting, (which i can tell no difference from default in the idleing), so not sure if putting that back to 3rd is a better idea than switching to 64 jet, or if i should just switch.

Did you check the float? Sounds like it's too low if it won't idle.
I did, and it does look like its lower than it should be but i dont know how to rais the level. It sits about halfway down, i assume it should be higher, but didnt know for sure.

Nah, mine is the other cheap carb with the red scoop. Carb itself is the same i think, just dont have the black basic cover. I had to remove the cover to fit the card on a new bike i just bought about a week ago, which is why its not attached. Already ordered a offset and it actually arrived today, just havent put it on yet

I was able to remove the bowl without spilling any gas, my mistake, it sits at about 3/4

No, you have to drain the fuel out of the carb and then remove it. Turn the carb upside down and sit the float on the little tang and measure it from the seat for the gasket. Be careful removing the gasket so you don't break it and then you can reuse it. Top of the float should be 21 mm above the gasket seat. Adjust it by bending the tang, make sure you bend both sides equally. It won't be much, 1 or 2 mm at most.

Awesome ill tey that thanks. Hope itll fix my idle so itll work like it should. Im always careful with my gaskets of course, but they are basically cardboard, so I have have a full set of gaskets i bought in case i need them, so im covered in that reguard.
