Hi guys i have a new 48cc slant head HT, i was curious to see under the head and look at the squish band. When i poped it off i noted that the piston was flat on top.
Now my old motor had a flat top piston but was a first generation motor, before i purshased the slant head motor i ordered a new piston for the old 1 and it was a domed top! i just figured its was the new type.
So my question is does anyone have a slant head with a domed piston std

I have the new 50cc Starfire Gen II with the steel sleeve and slant head. It just has a flat top piston also.
I put in a bosch 7818 long thread plug (NGK BPR6ES or BPR6EY) and got more compression adding a little pep to the engine.
Always use a little anti-seize on your plug threads. It will help getting it out in the future.

did you know anti seize was devloped for use on heated parts only but is commonly used on lug nuts, and other things?
just read it in my course materials. pretty cool.... (doesnt mean i wont stop putting it on anything external lol)
