I believe pistons from certain 49mm chainsaws like the Stihl MS390 will work. No doubt someone with more knowledge on the subject than I will chime in.

Stick to the factory piston. It's domed and the saws are flat. That being said a factory avenger head is domed with flat piston but IMO it's a total turd lol factory piston my guy
One would hope, but they are likely just iron rings in the iron bore. Nothing wrong with that at all either as engines ran iron rings in iron blocks for decades.
