I replaced the brass bushing in the clutch that always causes problems with 15x20x3.5mm ball bearings. I used 6 bearings like in the video I saw on YouTube except he used 15x21x3.5 and had to do some grinding. Could have used just 2 and a spacer but I bought a pack of 10 on AliExpress for $10.24 including shipping. No machining or grinding necessary, they fit perfectly. Turns smoothly and no more oiling required.

You need grease instead of oil. Do you know what happens to a bearing that doesn't get any grease?

Yep I think someone on here that got banned did the conversion. That pesky 15mm shaft with the plain brass bushing is a nightmare. I didn't know before my first 49cc kit that it would seize up so fast. Plus you can't even find 15mm ID bushings on the motorized kit sites. Just the 5/8 but I ended up selling that motor for $50.

You have to go on Ali Express to order the exact sealed bearings you need from a factory in China. It generally takes about 6 weeks to get them. When I had the LandRider I had to order special bearings for the auto-shift rear derailleur.

The only right sized bearings I could find in the US were $17 each. Shipping from China took 9 days and about $1 each. Not sure that just 2 of those tiny bearings would last very long so using 6 is a good idea and easier than making a spacer.
