People who are running a 56 tooth sprocket and 26" wheels what are your actual top speeds on level ground please? Seeking real world results from folks with 49cc generic kits as I failed to find anything but speculative/guessing/formula answers with a search of the forums.

I to would be intertest in the answer to this as I`m about to order either a 50 or 56 tooth sprocket
thanks John.

an overall ratio of 16:1 has long been regarded as the best for small motor-assist single speed performance. Engine idle speed will be slightly under 10MPH, clutch locked by 12-15 (this can vary), and 6000RPM will be approximately 30MPH. This leaves you pretty good all-around characteristics with some pedaling needed now and then ofc. Easy 18-28 cruise with higher speeds definitely possible. 8000RPM is ~39MPH with a 16:1 26"!

The generic chain-driven box with the entry-level 4-stroke kit and a 56T will be real close to 16:1.
