60 miles and counting....

I used 1/4 inch aluminum plate that I had kicking around.
I had an old 1/4" aluminum panel that was a switching panel in an old dirt track race car. I still have most of the plate, but I've made tons of parts with it.
 
Dear Fellow Motorheads-Finally installed the brackets, rear Tektro brake and minibike/go cart clutch/brake lever assembly. I think that it turned out pretty well, but definitely took more elbow grease than I was expecting. Will post a follow up after riding, as I am very curious as to how the rear bearings feel after NOT using the coaster brakes but the rear caliper brakes-Gearhead437
UPDATE-Rear brakes are a godsend. They work so well that I only use the coaster brakes at very low speeds. The front brake is not needed as much either.Not sure if the bar stock is compressing, but the brake bolt became a little loose. I may have to install spacers. Still, the coaster brakes are much less hot, so I'm a happy camper.....
