'65 Schwinn waiting to motorized

what the he!! am I waiting. This is step one into bringing this hobby up a level. I want to build, sell, and then build some more, and then sell more. I know there is no money in this and that I can not deal with any liablility but ... but.... but.... but........

You got to admit that it would be a cool build if anything

Somehow I always pop up to advise against coaster brakes and 3 speeds, prefer 7's & 21's with hand brakes.

The frame looks great, but the rear wheel most likely will have to be switched out for heavier gauge.

I tried a lower priced but heavier gauged 3 speed wheel only once, and the jury is still out, because it's on a vacation bike and not used heavily every day.

I picked up a schwinn typhoon a couple of weeks ago 50's cruiser. I was all ready to build it out but I just couldn't hack up a 50yr. old bike. Pictures in my album section.

Craigs is a better bet if you just do some real looking. You can find a bike with good quality hubs and rims for under $100, maybe even front suspension.
