Your carb is installed sideways while it should be vertical or at least as close to it as you can get it.

Ok thanks guys. My problem now is being able to spin the carb. The air vent is in the way. If I turn it the bike frame is in the way because of the red plastic crap.

If that is your bike, then I call BS on no space in the frame. Just loosen the mounting bolts and turn the engine until the carb is level.

I think he doesn't want to lose the chain guard. Clocking the engine any other way would interfere with the chain guard and possible the stock chainring.

You can always chop your manifold and use a small length of silicon hose to rejoin the halves.
