Hey guys, first post here, I'm in Canada. I don't have a bike yet but I have been reading lots. I have a lot of experience building motorized scooters and go-carts. Recently I bought an adapter and HD clutch from Staton and bolted it to the 79cc predator engine (here it is actually called a 79cc power fist, same engine though) I used a dual chain pocket bike gearbox. When I bought the adapter I thought it would fit the pocket bike gearbox but the bolt pattern is a touch off. Lucky enough there was enough meat in the adapter and I was able to drill+tap 4 new holes (rotated from the other holes). Does anyone have experience with these pocket bike gearboxes? Do you think it'll handle the power of the 79cc? I do have experience bolting this to a Honda GXH50, works well on that. Here are pics...

It will hold up fine since the torque is about the same, but the speed will be very low with the added reduction and lack of rpm compared to the pocket bike engine.
