Hi,
Does anyone know what size chain comes with the 80cc engine kits. It is definitely bigger/fatter than the regular bike chain, but I'm sure I have read that you can use a regular chain with a bit of modding...

I'd rather get the fatter type chain so it fits straight on without any messing about.

Thanks in advance

Ahh perfect. I was looking at 415 chains but didn't want to buy without knowing for sure. Na it snapped today on way home, I lost the half link and one normal link. Think I'll just buy a whole new one now and be done with it.
Thanks sir!

If you use a half link, rivet it in place. Don't use the little cotter key, those always fail.

Check your wheel sprocket. Make sure its all straight. When I first got my bike built, I kept going through chains and found out that the sprocket was bent. After that was fixed I could go over pot holes at high speeds and never broke any more chains. I mean don't try to hit the potholes, but you know what I mean.
