80cc jug will it bolt on to 50cc base

I may have been under the misassumption that i could just bolt the top end onto my 50cc base. The muffler studs broke off on the old one and there is excessive piston wear.---but it does not seem to fit--are they interchangeable on a happy times 2 stroke.

Guessing this but i doubt different capacity parts are interchangeable(even from the SAME vendor)
Email the particular vendor u bought the 50cc kit from & ask.

PS...i'de like to know the answer to this question too.

My understanding is the bottom is the same, just a new jug, head, pistons and rings to upgrade a 50 to a 66. But if you are having problems, perhaps not, or as stated above. Where is it not fitting?

The top slides on to about half inch to the base--the piston is close 3/8 inch from top-tried a hammer studs 4 are slightly closer together wont go

the parts are cheap just get the correct relcement parts for your engine,its as simple as that.
