80's Schwinn Prodject

Got this bad ass 80's Schwinn Cruiser. Fresh paint and rocking a 20 inch rear tire. Tires are matching flame tread. This thing picks up speed quick! Just got her running today, time to break her in!! How's she looking. Will post final pics.

If you can get the nose of your motor a little higher, it will help it run smooth. Try to get the carb level.

Exacly what i thought, going to need one of the mount adapters that go around bottom tube. Heard those u bolts suck.

All you need is a piece of steel plate, 3" X 3" X 1/4" and drill a couple holes on one side of it for the motor. Get a muffler clamp from the local auto parts store, the right size to fit the down tube on your bike, much more heftier than kit supplied U-bolts, and drill a couple holes for U-bolt from muffler clamp on the other side of the plate. To raise the motor, put the muffler clamp below the motor studs, to lower it put it above.

Possibly the piece that goes in the back, the rear mount thing will work on the front.

1 or 2 though?

Check it out, try it and let us know what works best for your situation ;)
