A cheap? 8:1 geared reduction box, may not occur to some?

all i know is its a well regarded product and have sold millions.

my1016/18 etc. family of bike/trike motors have a reduction box option & a range of sprockets etc. as the basis of a transmission. so cheap, maybe Toss the (brushed i think) motor & hook up an ICE to their durable volume produced transmission/reduction box? The norm is for a strong chain.

about $50
e.g., but cheaper is possible on aliexpress etc. maybe u can just buy the bits?

I have one on my Schwinn Etrex bike. I don't know if it would adapt to an ICE very well.
I made a freewheel adaptor to fit mine, takes a southpaw 18t freewheel so I can mid drive.
