After a member gave me a window into they're motor I've decided to dig even deeper into these heads.

As it appears to me the smolik head is the only one on the market with a matching squish band. The olyin is virtually identical to the ld100 head but more expensive.

Also when I build an avenger with anything but a smolik head I use an ld100 head gasket. It simply fits the bore correctly. The avengers is technically almost 2mm too large.

Here's some pics of the heads compare,my revenger,avenger and the cylinders I still own for the platform(not including the ones on bikes and complete motors.

I have very extensive knowledge of the platform in all of its forms. This is to help you make an educated decision. Opinion of the smoliks may vary BUT I can say honestly they make the only truly appropriate head for your flat top motor.

You will be glad to know all of my dealings with Kurt and Ethan to this point have been good.

As promised here a side by side of the LD100 and YD85/AV85. As you can plainly see castings are very dissimilar. The avenger usually has very poor quality and ld100 is clean as a whistle I make a case for the ld100 to anybody new to the hobby or porting.

With such a clean cylinder to start it's VERY easy to build. The ld100s only flaw is it's durations by adding a 2mm spacer and possibly 1 base gasket it's a VERY good motor. Sure you will need to seal the exhaust well BUT with some long hardened studs, loctite and a well trimmed gasket I've had no issues.

If you know me you know I LOVE the little guy! Consider an ld100 for your budget power it's been VERY good to me. It has none of the flaws of an avenger, (ring gap/wrist pin bearing/poor casting), HUGE BONUS in a pinch and China girl part fits lol.

Nope, Not Really...lol...lol.

You would be one of the very few on this forum then...lol...Maybe the one and only...lol...lol.

Don't wonder why they are banned here and have had their trusted vendor credentials pulled from not only this forum, but from every other forum or social media as well, (except the ones they own and control themselves...lol).

The Smoliks are "Personna Non Grata" in this forum in general and ME in particular.

Ps... @ImpulseRocket has a similar "Wonderful Rapport" as I do with Ethan and Kurt on his Facebook Phantom 85 forum that he is the admin/moderator of as well...They were shown the door over there as well...lol...lol.

I shall read. I'm just speaking of my own dealings. ZANE is far away the worst. Even some of the "better vendors" are ringing ppl dry. I don't necessarily divulge my full knowledge over there like here so I getting a better grasp on what goes on out there. Like I said I've personally had good dealings with them. We share no opinions however and I don't like the way some ppl are treated on FB. I could see how things could get ugly though for a new comer or someone less persistent.

Well that's absolutely classless of them. This forum is the go to for new guys who don't wanna get s**t on in a social media setting. I see your reasoning however for the foreseeable future they're the only makers of a head with legitimate squish for the 52mm flat tops.
