i always found it a good way of seeing if i had a carb tuned right...add rc fuel and it would run like 
cus it was too lean...
oversized jet so twas rich and it helped somewhat but at 40 odd dollars for 4 litres...no thanks
so many other things add more performance than silly expensive fuel additives
noone really seems to understand just what nitro does. adds oxygen. lets you stuff more fuel into the cylinder and get it to burn. helps with methanol that doesnt have much power...but seeing as youre burning 4 times the amount(compared to petrol), theres more power on average... so with lots of nitro you can get 5 or 6 times more fuel in! so even more power!
it makes lots of nitric acid that eats metal, skin, clothing, you name it...
what else? stuffing 5 times the fuel in increases fuel consumption im content with my 0% or 5% stuff (in me RC stuff)
