You know, I have a blue and white 5Star from 1984. It's a really nice survivor, 6 speed cruiser.

That's what I keep my eye out for. 6-7 speed cruisers. The right one doesn't turn up too often.

Honestly, I don't know if I could keep a bike like that looking nice. I'd end up doing something that would mess it up.

I was at the local trash dump and found a handful of old Briggs flatties set off to the side. They only wanted 5 bucks a piece, I should have bought them, but I didn't.

Yeah they are, especially the carbs. I can get racing parts for one off arc racing, but that's just flywheel and rod. It was a pain for me to track down a crank for one to replace the odd size crank in one that I have.

A friend had a riding mower in his field he gave to me, I had that thing running after about a week of waiting for parts, then I put a new blade belt and new blades on it. I had about 100 bucks in it, and I sold it for 500 bucks. Not bad for a weeks worth of work.

Having trouble with a frozen shift cable. Got the rear rack on it. The pull start is just to get it started. It'll be gone when I'm done with the build.
The double kick stand will be replaced for the stock one.
