abg french engine

here are a couple of pics of an abg engine.i just resurected it from my attic.very old fashioned electrics anyone know the age of this at all.the cog drive is very interesting.any info would be welcome.

Looks like a front mount possibly, I think I can see some room of the axle where the fork slips over it.


Front wheel drive automobiles get better gas mileage than RWD, so it makes sense i guess, lol
