So I have just drilled a hole into the casing of my air filter, (on the back of it) I am pretty sure that I have gained some speed from this. It seems to work very well. Anyways I just thought I would post what I did and what it seemed to do. Has anyone else done this as well?

Yep I've done this too, It seems to have a better noise too. Would definetely recomend doing it, dont drill the top though as you dont want water leaking in.

but doesn't this mean that you've pretty much by-passed your air filter? I'd be worried about that.

The hole is still covered by foam so not really.
