Regarding the Suburu EHO35, there is a little, white fiber filter behind the foam filter in the air cleaner. I called RobinsSuburu and someone there told me to leave it in, the engine is designed that way. I'm not sure I believe him but does anyone have an opinion on it. If it is removed then there might be slightly more air entering and since the mixture is fixed, wouldn't the engine run more lean that could lead to damage?
