Air Filters --- Do they do much?

I've seen a few cool looking ones around... I am thinking of the sickbikeparts one. Do they do much... and any other suggestions.

Filters are extremely important & very underrated..........no filter...pretty soon no engine.

I would like to say that filters are no big thing

but -- that just would not be true

it's amazing how much road dirt we pick up

I just steam cleanned my MB the other day

figuring some of that junk -- sand, dirt and whatever -- would have ended up in engine

into carb -- onto rings -- especially since my filter faces to the front

ride that clean THING

I should rephrase that... do performance filters do much?

Yes... your motor needs oxygen and the more that flows easily into it the better. Take the aircleaner off and take a squirt around the block you should see the difference. (i dont condone doing this for lengthy periods) If you get a high flow aircleaner you will get a very slight increase in performance, your best also popping a tuned pipe on the motor to benefit from the increased flow rate

P.S Any cleaner off a pocket bike will fit too, tiz what we used on my big bros china motor under 10 bucks from the local pocketbike shop
