Airvane powered bike

Thats why I said in the fist place, all air powered stuff are BS. lol.
I don't know if its possible to convert those engines to propane. Maybe it is possible, but it may be a lot of work. Or it may not. Make sure the valve seats well or else BOOM!.

Bs not really just a friendly chat being gone from the forum for a while. What about concave neodymium magnets stacked placed opposite the TDC cam on the flywheel at a certain angle?. Might give the design more power if repelling force could be transferred to centrifugal.

Ah well, maybe convert a 4 stroke for propane? That will burn cleaner and make Hank hill a very happy man
How about using a 1 lb propane charged with woodgas powering an HS 49cc?. Could make the gas in the backyard and pressurize. The cylinders are like 3-5$, question is how to make an efficient regulator and how far could you go?

perpetual motion machines dont exist. your magnet idea wont work. Its a closed system. The repelling force gained will counteract the energy the cam will provide when it will move the magnets back together, for the system to reset and repel.
When I was a kid around 8 or 9 I had a patent book, cause I wanted to be an inventor, with lots of crazy ideas like magnet systems but it all violated conservation of energy laws, so the net would be 0. Your idea reminded me of that. I wish I still had that book. One of them i remember was to have a solar panel beneath a lamp so the solar panel would than power the lamp for ever, or at least cut down on energy.... haha,

probably the best way to "convert" a 49cc 4 stroke to propane is to get a old propane grill and snatch the regulator off of it and drill a hole in the airfilter then attach the bottle with a 20lb to 1lb adapter, then adjust the regulator untill the engine starts and runs good itll be down on power but it should last a while.

parts needed (i think)

The exhaust valve and seat should be upgraded. That's what has to be done to automotive engines that are switched from gas to propane. Or else the exhaust valve and seat don't last long. Propane burns hotter than gasoline

i think it should be fine, as automotive engines tend to have much higher compression ratios (10:1 or more) and require tighter clearances to run.
plus, propane conversions for generators just bolt on the air intake and dont even touch the valves, and there run constantly for long periods of time.

yea your right, one would have to put over 20K miles on the little 50cc 4 stroke bicycle engine for the exhaust valve and seat to become a problem

Oh, oof.

This propane thing might be a cool thing, if someone makes it i'd be really happy to see it.
Gasoline has 112,114 to 116,090 BTU, and propane has 84,250 BTU, so I'd say consumption is pretty close to fuel.
