Another cruiser bike and motor bought cheap - started on rebuild - pre-picture

i bought my first single speed cruiser for $50 with a grubee motor already installed. The chains were all messed up / broken as was the paint job.
The rear motor mount strap is broken, studs are bent ,wheel is out of line, spokes broken, tube leaks, pedal was stripped in place, ground wire and cdi hooked up wrong, and probably lots more.
A day later and the bike is all stripped and re-painted bright sun glow yellow. I might paint the fork tips black. I have a rico black motor on another that might get donated to this project .
I have some questions. The motor looks to have come from grubee with regular bike chains, not 415's. Possible?
What year does this motor look to be? I can get more pics if you need. The exhaust looks to be the newer e.p.a. approved one. I should have the bike back in shape by the weekend.

who knows, the design hasn't changed in 50 years or so.

It does look recent. But that's about the best I can do for you.

It sounds like the previous owner just didn't know how to be a little bit gentle with his bike. A shame.

But it worked out for you, didn't it?
