I know Minnesota doesn't seem to be a good place to be into bicycles, but we do have several good weather days each year.
Life has not been the same for me since I took machine shop and welding classes. My interests/hobbies have involved fabrication ever since. Building recumbent bikes has been complex enough to hold my interest lately, but I've been unable to ignore bicycle engines and that led me to this site.
It may be Off Topic, but I'd like to say here that I am very impressed with this site. All those who contribute deserve an 'attaboy (or girl as the case may be) for the organization, presentation, and overall 'class' of this site. You have done a remarkable job with what seems to have become an 8000# gorilla. My hat is off to you and you have my thanks for this opportunity to learn and the stimulation of shared experiences.

Hi Zenith. Welcome to MBc!
Another Minnesota boy here. Just when we can ride, snow. Bummer!

If you search and are unable to find your answers, don't hesitate to post your question. Someone will steer you to a link, or reply to your question. Were here for each other! Enjoy! :D}
Here's a great crash course post "link" to get you started.
