I need to get a new bike frame as im tired of the old one i have. It has too many problems. I need something without coaster brake, and something that is capable of mounting an engine. I would prefer disc brakes but rim brakes work as well. I also need the bike to be under 200. I would prefer if a bike was black. Any suggestions are helpful.

Sounds like a kent Bayside and a can of black spray paint is what you need. I personally like the hyper cruiser even though it needs a little bit more work to make a great bike off. This is what mine looks like.

Building a good bike on a budget isn't hard if you go one piece at a time.

So much was wrong with it, the fork was lose and falling apart, the tires were worn down, the rear coaster brake seized up again, and the front wheel is not true
Its also rusting and i just want to make a bike now that is going to be able to handle all my stuff. besides i got it for dirt cheap like $30
If your going for cheap, why not look at used bikes on marketplace? The Cranbrook isn't as bad of a platform as we make it sound, if you get it cheap. For the price new, there are much better options.

I made one using a hub adapter and some angle Iron.
As you know Gordy, I made my own front mount as well, do you know if the stock one from the kits will actually fit or not???...As for me, I think the CDH Power front mount will save him alot of alignment and height aggravation issues.

The CDH would have been my go to if I didn't make one. The stock mount might work, but I haven't tried.
