I am looking at some of his engines and wondering if they are worth the money?
I was thinking of getting the cheaper GT5 engine from him and buying the top end kit he sells separate. Thing is it would be cheaper to just buy his Speed Racer engine even though hes not using the GT5 engine for the base.
Or would it be preferable to buy the GT5 and upgrade it? I know the GT5 has better parts but not sure if the extra money to do it this way would be worth it.
In any case I want to run ported cylinder and piston, high compression diamond head, and I haven't decided on exhaust but want proper exhaust for set up as well as carb and a cdi ignition system.
But I would like to hear what people think of the engines Jake sell. I am working on my parts list right now to see what my next purchases will be after my wheel purchase.
