  1. I live in Northern Ca. and have passed cop after cop with no problem, but after perusing the thread on the infamous $17 doller licence requirement (still not sure about that) I'm filling in the form to mail ... but honestly, isn't this ridiculous to have to 'fake' an engine serial number ... can anybody at least give me one known legitimate name for these 80 ...or should I say 69? cc engines ?

    How about Happy Mchybrid?

The kicker is you might qualify for a federal tax credit just using that word "hybid"

Experimental is also a good label.

If three or four of them pop up in a row, there would be a "mbmovement".

It would be better to say..

It would be better to say 48cc motor. That is what I would say. I would keep it under 49cc personally.. Enjoy the ride...

  6. In massachusetts at least, you need to take the title of the scooter to your local Registry of Motor vehicles (I am tempted to say modah here), fill out the form and you get a sticker and a registration.

the kits we have do not come with titles, so how are we supposed to register them?

I can't find ANY information about this on the mass RMV or the federal DMV website.
