My 212cc bike build is going well.

I'm worried if my rear wheel will survive. I'll run the stock 36h wheel until it fails, then build an indestructible one .
I know, HD rims, 10g spokes, etc. However, I'm using a 7-speed freewheel. That makes it more difficult, since I'll be running engine power thru the 7 gears.

I have a new mag wheel, which uses 8-speed cassette.

Anyone have one that failed under engine power?

Has anyone found a solid metal wheel that'd work on a bicycle?

I've had a few cassettes fail. But not fail. The nut that holds the freewheel together has loosened off but I caught it in time to red loctite it back on. Never had a problem after there loctite
