Anyone try the Zeda magneto?

Was looking around for the OZ magneto and stumbled on the Zeda. Says it has more resistance but all I can find is from the BMW site.

Also, anyone know where to get the OZ magneto besides eBay or BMW? Can't find it anywhere else that I have heard of the seller.

Well BMW's site says sold out for the OZ but they have them listed on ebay. I don't do ebay though. Guess I'll give them a call. Still would like some other sites if anyone knows of any and some info on the Zeda.

couple years ago, kits were shipping with a 489ohm mag coil - after a rash of blown out CDI units everyone went back to the 350ohm mags

Have no idea what kind of readings either one has. I'm planning to run the HD lightning strike cdi if that makes any difference. This is all going on a Zeda case reed build.

yes, around the 300 mark actually

Lower the ohms stronger the spark.

Contact Dan Buchannon SR on face book...he does an improved version of the OZ magneto using an even larger wire wrap than Oz and connects the wiring much stronger....it's not cheap though.

This is the same guy that builds the Huffy Davidson CDI kits.

I have the OZ magneto myself but not Dan's version..Yet.
