Hi.
I'm using a SickBikeParts one piece 226mm cartridge and aluminum cranks for my 212cc install in my Sixthreezero "In the Barrel" bike.

The right-side crank arm has threads to hold the freewheel and 42-tooth chainring sprocket.
This arm has to be offset almost 2", and the left-side arm needs offsetting to match:

(Mine's standard taper; this ISIS pic shows the threaded part better.)
Should I have a welder offset these aluminum arms 2" each?
Another option would be to buy steel cranks having 1.75" offset each.
but the right-side would have to be modified to have male threads to accept
the freewheel and sprocket.
What should I do?
