Are the basic $140 Zeda 80 kits any good?

I've got a Zeda80 with a 5.5 Fred head and mz65 pipe. Does 45mph very quickly a matter of seconds. 24" rims on a 36tooth sprocket. Doesn't seem like it wants to go much faster then that.

Unless you cut the header length down(shorter) it wont get any faster! At 45mph with 24" wheel and 36t gear the engine is turning 9,500 rpm or close to it and has already fell off the pipe.2" shorter header would get you to 50mph or 10,500 rpm and that's probably max it should go if you want to keep this engine awhile, have fun and enjoy!

Are the bolts fastened with Loctite during manufacture and how difficult is servicing the engine, disassembling the top/bottom end, clutch, etc?

No loctite. The only place I remember seeing it is on the small bevel gear bolt. Difficulty is a sliding scale. For some it is nothing to work on these engines but for others it's more like solving the mystery of life.

I've never seen a kit that wouldn't run if carefully put together - I have seen three friends order three kits on same day from same place and slowest ran 29mph, while fastest ran 34mph.
The best kit made needs pretty much daily adjustments for first month or so.
What ajustments would need to be done daily ? Thank u new to this
